Nintendo has officially released Splatoon 3 Version 6.0.0, which brings a new season, catalog, and a host of changes to multiplayer, battles, and Salmon Run. The update also introduces new weapons, special weapons, and terrain adjustments, among other things.

Some of the key changes in this update include:

* New catalog with new gear, titles, banners, decorations, stickers, and emotes.
* New battle stage (Robo ROM-en) and returning battle stage (Bluefin Depot).
* New special weapons including Triple Splashdown and Splattercolor Screen.
* Changes to multiplayer with new songs and weapon equipment options.
* Salmon Run updates including new King Salmonid (Megalodontia) and job title changes.
* Splatfests updates with name display issues fixed and special ink color glow reduced.

In addition to these changes, the update also includes bug fixes for player controls, multiplayer, Salmon Run, and Splatfests. The next update is planned for the middle of Chill Season 2023 and will focus on balance adjustments.
