Blizzard's free-to-play shooter, Overwatch 2, may not have had the same explosive popularity as its predecessor, but it has certainly brought some fresh ideas and collaborations to the table. The latest of these is another anime-inspired crossover, this time featuring the legendary '90s anime, Cowboy Bebop.
That's right, Spike Spiegel, Faye Valentine, and the rest of the Bebop crew are virtually joining Overwatch 2, in the form of character skins. The official announcement was made via social media, and you can watch the trailer, which recreates the iconic anime intro.
This event is set to commence on 12th March 2024, and aside from the skins, players can also look forward to unlocking emotes and other exciting content. This is not the first time Blizzard's Overwatch sequel has collaborated with anime. Previously, it partnered with One Punch Man, which is now finally getting a third season.
So, get ready to explore the world of Overwatch 2 with a new anime-inspired look and style!
