日本 frequently receives different game bundles, and this trend appears to be continuing with the upcoming Switch release, Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition. The so-called "special" Famicom Edition is reportedly packed with two Famicom wireless controllers, which seem to be the same ones offered to Switch Online members in Japan, and seem to be replacing the gold display cartridge included in the NES Edition "Deluxe Set."

Moreover, there have been reports (based on a translation of Nintendo's Japanese website) that these same Switch Online Famicom controllers will soon be available to the general public in Japan. Similar to the situation here, Switch Online controllers have previously only been available to subscribers. However, it seems that they will be available to everyone when this title launches in July.

If Nintendo decides to make Switch Online controllers available to the general public locally, we will be sure to let you know.
