My Nintendo LifeSoapbox features have been absolutely thrilling this year, with the announcement and release of numerous highly-anticipated games like Ghost Trick, the Apollo Justice Trilogy, Fantasy Life sequel, and the Paper Mario: Thousand-Year Door remake. It's as if Nintendo has been listening to me all along, matching my taste in games and my personal preferences.
However, with all these games coming out, I've realized that my original Switch wishlist is no longer a valid one. It's been cleared out in the space of a few months, and I'm left wondering what to pine over next. But that's okay, because I've come up with some new solutions to help you, like me, find new favourites and make your own wishlist.
One solution is to promote old favourites. There are still plenty of games that haven't been officially announced for the Switch that I'm holding out hope for. Games like Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, Nonary Games, Hotel Dusk, and Last Window are all on my list. And maybe even a Professor Layton box set! That would be a dream come true.
Another solution is to get more granular with my wishes. I want to see Nintendo do more with the Switch outside of just games. Maybe it's time to get more specific about what I want from Nintendo, like fixing Joy-Con drift forever or adding proper folders and themes to the Switch homepage. These are all things that I think would make the Switch experience even better for us as players.
In conclusion, my final top-ten wishlist includes games like Miles Edgeworth duology on Switch, a Nonary Games trilogy, a Minish Cap remake, a Professor Layton box set, and more. But I'm also looking forward to seeing what else Nintendo has in store for us in the future. After all, they've been listening to me all along, haven't they?
